A chunk of my now-deleted playlists were attempts to put all the good songs by specific artists into one place. I love blink, but some of their really early stuff is a touch rough, so I tried to make a playlist of the songs I wanted to listen to. Playlist folders are a weird Spotify feature. You can only make them with the desktop or web apps, but they show up on the mobile app. I find the convenience of tucking my playlists away into set folders—like gym music and people playlists—worth the ugly mobile user interface, but your mileage may vary.
To create a folder, right-click in the playlists sidebar and select Create Folder. Spotify recently removed the Songs section of your library, so all songs you like are now in a Liked Songs playlist. To like a song, tap or click the heart icon next to it on any page it appears. Putting a playlist in alphabetical order with all your other playlists should NOT take 60 seconds of your life!
Life is really too short to put up with crappy and unnecessary frustrations like this for any length of time, Spotify, just sayin' Don't hold your breath waiting for this milosalcalay. David has kindly guided you to an idea that was created in February, has kudos points, 11 pages of comments and yet still hasn't been given any status at all by Spotify.
We don't known if it's planned, unplanned or under consideration. At the moment Spotify are not even requesting feedback on that idea. I have added Kudos to that thread I will take a look, but I don't think it's more simply put than; where's the feature that allows you to click, sort alphabetically, or click, sort by last added, or click, sort by newest, or click, sort by genre It's simple functionality imo, and has been available forever within Windows, Linux, itunes etc.

You can organize playlists based on this. If you ever want to go back in time and remember how you felt right at that exact moment, try organizing your playlist group according to when you heard certain songs. Some songs are sad, some happy, some make you feel like a boss. For example, you can have a designated playlist for car music. If you drive to work daily, or take the occasional long trip, you can choose the songs you think will sound great in a car and put them on a separate playlist.
Going to the gym may be much easier if you have a playlist with songs that really get you going. Nothing against Mariah Carey, but you may not want to hit the weights while listening to All I want for Christmas is you. Since you hopefully have more than one playlist, overlaps are bound to happen. The same song may populate more than one of your playlists. Yes, but it is a tradeoff between display space, complexity and utility. Let me know which attributes you'd like to see.
